Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
Right now i'm stuck at the same phase. I have a few 74s with low mytics (nothing over 700) and i was able to complete the first few maps on NM but not alch labs. I can also get up to the last wave of ES but i usually fail halfway through. To help break up the tedium of farming better gear i've been going through the achievement list and trying to complete anything that i can.
Are there any decent low stat strategies for alch labs out there? I have one of each builder with average 500 tower stats, plus a huntress with about 160k dps.
Get an apprentice or hunter guardian, even one with only 20 boost. Now do ES NM HC and run to the towers blowing up ogres to win. Use this gear to get roughly 500/1000 in hp/attack for tower. Now do Mistymire NM HC. Although I use a squire on misty instead.
Edit: Ditch to tavern when spider queen approaches.
Unfortunately, it comes to a point where all you'll be doing is farming Misty Survival, so it's even worse than WoW when it comes to that. I'd say start working on Misty though until you get good enough gear to beat the boss. Then move on to survival.
I'm not that far ahead of you, and I couldn't beat the boss on Alchem labs either. What I did was host a campaign game named something like "help alchem labs" and multiple people came to help. I wasn't far off from beating it myself, I just couldn't handle the boss solo. Resists are really important for the boss, since it's hard to avoid getting hit. After that survival opened up for me.

Plus if you can find a spot to repair without getting hit, your towers should do the rest.
Having a squire with a 100% block weapon really helps with this (the dragon too). Even if it means dropping the 30% bonus, you can keep the guardian boost going much longer which more than makes up for it.
