Why does it matter what quality others play on.

Why cant they stay just as they are? Its hilarious to have a tiny and cute huntress guardian and see how becomes a huge and annoying floating cube with angel wings.

Simply, i dont see why is this needed.
He used the low poly count as his argument for why they shouldn't scale in size. I think your "quality" comes into play if that's the basis of your argument.

I think they need to grow a little, but more like pokemons. Make them evolve instead of blowing them up

I was going to make a Snorlax reference, but I realized that GameFreak gave it an origin evolution. :^(

I dont think you know what low polygons and low quality mean, they're completely different

EDIT: When I turn, I see this each time.

XD Happened with a genie when a friend joined my game. Something happened between him loading into my tavern and his genie was HUGE. I like it most of the time >.>

    Two things:

    - I dont want them to just dont scale at all. Its ok if they grow up like 50-60%, instead of beign 3x the base size.

And most important, i disabled postprocessing because i dont like the outline and ultrasaturated color-fest of the game when its enabled, and btw the polycount its exactly the same enabled or not.

Agreed, the level 100 pets are getting out of hand, size wise.

No the count doesn't change, how they are displayed can. Postprocessing/shaders/pixelmapping/etc all effect the "quality" of the image being displayed, regardless of the native polycount.

Mute point though, it's derailing an otherwise decent thread that could produce good input.

I like the huge pets sometimes, but I think an option to toggle or adjust the pet's transparency would be cool. They tend to get in the way in third-person view at times. Weapons should also have a transparency option, massive weps are kinda unusable in first-person view imo.
