By looking at some of the screenshots here, one thing has been jumping at my mind. With your environment setup, it doesn't have that feeling as if someone either has lived, or is currently living there. I've always been lectured from my professors about being mindful of this fact to make the environment more interesting to look at. Every piece has a purpose, and a place. It does look really interesting though. Are you going to implement any "puzzle-like" events through the hedge maze?
I guess I have been trying to make it look nice and not really had that in mind, I will have a think about it and see what can be done.
About the hedges, they aren't really a maze with the way they are at the moment to be honest and I didn't have any plans for to make any puzzle elements in it.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely think about the making it looked lived in.

To Do:
Make some aesthetic improvements to the inside
General work on the outside
Wyvern spawns
Balancing the spawns
Fix crashing problems when crystal dies or wave ends
looks great:P would be interesting if there was a map like this in a mansion where the whole mansion was explorable, dungeon etcbut cant wait to play this one!
Quite a large update, I read the dungeon defenders site by EvilMrFrank today, I did not know about it before today sooner and I also did not know it was a pre-requisite for the "your first dddk map" tutorial, otherwise I definitely would have read it.
So given that I made some changes to the layout of the map, I have also been working on the outside. This all also means another update to the mini-map. Also the moon is shining on the front of the manor now, but I forgot to take a screenshot showing this, I'll include it next time as there are a few screenshots already.

I think the garden is missing... something. i cant quite put my finger on it.
maybe some easereggs like a bird or a birdnest or something in one of the trees.
looks amazing though!!
and in the last screenshot looks like you got the spawns working?
If you don't mind a suggestion a Stone pathway in the garden would add some character to the garden. Maybe a few lamp posts near the corners?
Looking pretty good though!
