Yes, Det, I've read that one. It does, however, fail to meet the criteria of no survival gear. That, combined with the solo element, is the key to what I'm looking for.

just did it today as well with the following stats:

1000/1600/x/x tower squire (me)
300/400/x/x hunter (yes it was laughable almost)
900/900/x/x barb
800/1500/x/x squire dps

Most of the effort is in keeping up the walls as the squire harpoon towers will just dps the queen down.

I had a couple of close calls on south and east but otherwise mostly smooth ride. Ideally barb tank needs genie (we didnt use it).
Ill post a setup if anyone needs a squire layout for beating queen.

it's the word "we" that bothers me. the question is if it can be done solo without survival gear.

done it today very easy
all gear from UMF2, around 900 1000 700 700 twr and dps sets, barb tanked the boss, only time ~ 1 hour is bad
most hard part is repair after ogres with keep boss aggro

Its possible with no survival gear... My no survival gear build had these stats : 750-1650-750-750. Granted I had farmed misty HC campaign a few times (i levelled my heroes to 74 on the map) withotu beating the boss. Its REALLY easy to get over 1k stats with misty campaign gear IF you use HC mode. The setups are posted with really good stats, thats for sure, but the misty builds posted withe gas traps do not require survival gear, thats for sure.

is there a specific reason for the solo requirement? or just something of a personal mission because i tried and failed with solo attempt so i just looked for a barb to help me out.

Not a personal mission so much as a personal preference. I simply find the game far more enjoyable solo.

Here, I just made and tested this, works pretty good. I played VERY sloppy (let her destroy all of north and south), and still won very easy because I had sooo much time to rebuild. The boss fight lasted 22 minutes (I was 100% solo), so I think it might last a few minutes more with lesser stats, but I was trying stuff out while the battle was going on. Also, I let the darkness traps in my run, it would be possible to add 2 harpoons attacking her which would speed things up a LOT. Everything is explained in the layout!
