Aight, forgive me, it's late already. In that case it is indeed a 37.5% nerf

So, thats 260% of the dmg in tavern. Nerfing it by 60% would make it 30k in NM, hence a 23.% nerf
    Your math is erroneous:

    1.6 * 1.6 = 2.56
So it instead of 2.56x, it will be 1.6x. So a 15k harp in tavern will do 38.4k in NM now, but with the 60% reduction (the multiplier will be 1.6 instead of 2.56), the same 15K harp will do 24K in NM after the new patch. A huge difference, doing only 62.5% of current damage or a 37.5% reduction. So let's say one harp is attacking a 1M hp ogre. It now takes 26 harpoon hits to kill the ogre. After the patch it will take 42 harps to kill the same ogre. Same for 1M hp DEW's. Our walls are going to be melted by DEW's now.. not to mention golden DEW's. A huge game changer.

I don't think reduction in ogre number will compensate for this "fix". What will happen is that DEW's will destroy walls and harps and ogres and orcs will toast the crystal very quickly in NM survival. It also means that wyverns will have easier time surviving and destroying the crystal. It's going to be "nightmare" for all but the most extremely geared players in NM survival. After the new patch, I would wait till they "re-balance" NM again before playing NM survival again.

Trendy, if you're going to make this fix, at least also fix the huntress guardian bug with harpoons so they can be useful again in NM. I stopped using huntress guardians out of paranoia of bug causing harps to inflict no damage to monsters.

Also while you are at it, fix the DC'd huntress trap bug... it is still happening and it is a bad bug.

Trendy, buff other classes towers. Keep squire damage the same.

A nerf obviously disguised as a bug fix. How long has this slipped past everyone working at Trendy or as a beta tester and it gets fixed now? Man up and call a nerf a nerf Trendy. Don't disguise it as a bug fix.

Just buff apprentice towers, and everything will be alright.

I need 2 harpoons (dmg 1040, rate 700) to take down a single djinn before it can de-summons a tower. I wont have enough DU to have 3 harpoons defend against djinns that can spawn from 2 different directions. I cant wait to watch them wreck havoc on my defenses. Trendy might want to nerf Djinns hp too.

So...more work for less reward. People complain that it's impossible to to progress without having to buy gear from other players, so they make it even more impossible to do so. Unless this 'bug' is kept in the game (and other classes are buffed), I think it's the end of DD for me.

STOP NERFING. Jeez. For once, just try buffs. It's like Guess and Check with these patches.
