Even as host I get very poor performance, so much so that it is *almost* unplayable. I start at wave 28 and the performance degradation starts when I am close to finishing the initial build, haven't even done a combat phase yet. When we do start combat it gets even worse. When I play online with other people and complete a level, I don't get the ribbon for doing so.
This is both the case for joining a game in-progress and starting a game from scratch,
however, if I play a private game by myself the ribbons unlock.
