Hey Guys,

I think my Djinnlet is broken.
I just saved 6 billion mana to upgrade the Djinn and after I put all my mana into I got this!

http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/ojmcf74t/Djinn2.jpg

With 14540 pet damage it only makes 11623 real damage

Here is my first Djinnlet I got

http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/f2xsp9bi/Djinn1.jpg

With 7567 pet damage it makes 29491 real damage

Wtf?!

What wrong with my 14540 damage Djinnlet?

What quality are both pets? Are they both mythical and above?

I've never seen a djinnlet be not mythical or trancendent.

Not all Djinnlets are mythical or trans. That would mean you get mythical items for medium etc.

Okay I had to make a new character to see this.

My first Djinn is Level 74 with the 7k damage and the problem Djinn is Level 70 with 14k

I got both from Survival Mixed Insane HC Mode from "City in the Cliffs"

Why should that be a problem?

I think the non-mythical/trans are a bit darker in color than the myth and trans.

As for the damage, that is really weird. I have a few that I used to use a lot and I never had broken damage.

My trans with 300ups does about 45k a hit if I remember correctly.

My my with 240ups does about 30k.

Forgot to mention both were on my App

The one with a level 70 requirement is not mythical and hence does not scale with hero damage like a mythical or trans does. Resulting in reduced damage.

Interesting though, do they both say mythical in the description?

Nope the 70er got no Myth in it.

But it can't be that this Djinn even not get his normal damage of 14k

They are working as intended.

Pets with mythical, transcendent, supreme and ultimate quality scale with hero damage meaning they will always do a lot more damage than those that don't have the qualities.

How is that exactly helping me?

I'm just speaking of that Level 70 Djinn which should do without any hero boost min. 14540 damage and he is only doing 11,632.

I'm pretty sure that is a bug.
I never had a Pets that is doing less damage as it stand on the Stats

It's helping you because that's the way they work.

Only pets with a quality tag (mythical and above) will scale with hero damage. They are working as intended mate ;)

As classic has said, this is normal behaviour for pets with quality tags OR the Heroic tag. The quality tags are only on high level pets (74+) so you may not have noticed before.

You can test this yourself by putting the myth pet on a different character (say, your aura monk so same class just different damage) and seeing that it does a lot less damage. Then try the same thing with your non-tagged djinnlet.

I can tell you right now that the non-tagged one will do the same damage regardless of hero, while the tagged one will do more damage with higher hero damage

I really think you guys don't understand me.
I'm not talking about the myth pets.

Again:
I have a normal Pet with 14540 Damage (with no Heroboost!)
And it only does 11632

That is a Bug!

And again I'm not talking about any Heroboost
Why is that so hard to understand?!

When I use a other Level 70 Pets like a Griffon and it does 320 damage, it does 320 damage and not only 200

I don't think we are misunderstanding you.

Pets have been that way since the game started. It's not a bug, that's how they work.

It's not limited to Djinnlets. Look at any other normal pet.

I think he's trying to say that the untagged pet isn't doing exactly what it says it does (most of them are 1:1 pet damage:damage inflicted). It would seem djinlets have a multiplier that results in it doing ~2/3 of the damage it says it does.

However, I still don't think its a bug. Djinnlets give you mana each time they attack so it makes sense to have a slightly lower damage. It's called balance

The thing is that all pets that don't have heroic damage don't deal as much as what the pet says.

This has always been the case.
