Optimal proportion damage vs attack rate

What's the best proportion to use to distribute tower damage and tower attack rate for a tower apprentice?

I usually do about 70/30 in favor of damage, but I wonder whether I could get better dps with the towers attacking faster. Insert jokes about apprentice towers' viability here, I know.

But at level 75, with the combined points available for damage and attack rate at about 400, how would you distribute them?

sorry... can't help you there... although I do have a tower apprentice that is not spec'd for only walls (all points into tower health,) I have not tinkered enough with his stats to figure out what I like best. If you want to game and see send me a friend request.
