Upcoming Holidays

So, we are coming up to the lovely Holiday season(a little over a month til October) and I'm just curious on what Trendy might do. First of all, I know most of us all hope that this time around they add the holiday tavern swapping idea. Trendy could make new challenge maps for fun and would be cool(especially more new bosses), but I think they would probably just add a costume reward(for the new heroes ofcourse) or something to the holiday DLC for Nightmare and maybe Nightmare Hardcore completions since there isn't any currently for them besides unlocking the lower difficulty costumes. But I do hope they make a new Halloween challenge or tweak the one they have to add a boss. Was cool to have a Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine's Day boss, but sucked to not have one for Halloween. Also I would like to add, nice to have a Boss Rush, but where's my Holiday Boss Rush!!! I was hoping to fight all the holiday bosses as well, but nope. So hopefully we get something like that this coming holiday season.

So to sum up my ideas:
-Changeable Holiday taverns at users will
-New Holiday challenges or added NM/NMHC rewards for old holiday DLC replayability
-Hopefully adding a Halloween Boss to previous DLC or new challenge, either or I'm happy
-Holiday Boss Rush, and then maybe later a full on Boss Rush with Regular and Holiday Bosses
-Holiday Accessories

Just thought I'd get the pot stirring on what might happen this coming Holiday season and wonder what your guys ideas would be if we had a choice.

Halloween is next month, I'd love to see a new Halloween Spooktacular mission, maybe way harder then the current one, with a loooooot more XP and way better drops. That would be a lot of fun.

Really looking forward to themed tavern's again, those were a lot of fun (haven't had one since Valentines day I think =d)

Doesn't need better loot, just adding a boss to it I would be happy and more fun to play. But new challenges is always fun to. I just always like the holiday themed stuff, was fun to play. And yes, last one was Valentine's Day

Just thought of another nice idea, maybe add some Holiday Accessories. Like a santa hat brooch so every one can wear it. Some cool masks like Jason or Mike Myers for halloween. Things like that would be cool as well so you don't HAVE to wear the costume to be in the holiday spirit.

Themed accessories is a good idea. I hope they do some new themed maps with bosses.

I would be happy with just getting themed taverns.

Well I know we'll see them when the holiday comes but what we are hoping for is to be able to swap between them at will.

I'd personally love to see the holiday-themed taverns make a comeback. I don't see any reason they shouldn't. Back when the holiday content released, I was still playing the vanilla game back on 360. So sadly, even despite owning all the game's DLC, I've never seen the special taverns. I didn't make a full transition to Steam until shortly after the holiday stuff was over (late Spring.)

I love the idea of either new accessories or new costumes based on the holidays, as neither would be too intensive to create/program. Heck, make Halloween costumes for the other eight (non-vanilla) character classes. The Halloween ones tend to be among people's faves, plus the holiday is suited (no pun intended) to costuming. But with their team devoted to future projects, I don't see that happening in either case.

Ya that's what I was thinking, giving costumes this time around for the newer characters for that holiday. So even if they don't make a new holiday challenge, I hope they do something like that.

I'd love to see a selection of 'tavern themes' that could be changed by the host at any time, not only during holidays. Like it now is possible with the tavern music.

I like it being special. Like Killing floor's events! You only get to kill the holiday monsters during special times of the year. Makes it special :)
