PS: NOT a rant/hate/whine/complaint thread.
I have been trying to beat crystalline dimension nmhc solo for a while. Trying really really really hard, builds are good, stats are 3k+, DPS is strong ---> Failed almost 20 times in a row either at the mage map or something 1 shots squire at boss gauntlet (who is surprisingly str drained and walled in with offensives whatever can be pulled within 30 seconds).
So i heard from people ---> Its not solo-able whatever you do. Alright i called in cavalry, strong dps friends. 1 of them suddenly gets shot off map due to lag and defenses get overwhelmed by tremendous amounts of ogres in a few seconds. Well he leaves, we try again with 3 guys, again defenses fail after a few moments. (for some reason the copters can pretty easily kill buff beam'd+str drained minions with missiles). Once a buff is down, they fell like dead flies.
So i make a public server thought we can do this with full party. A certain gentleman joined and he was wearing tavernkeep skin on barbarian. That guy was something else, 370+^ full ultimate armor. With 350+^ pet cat with over 300 something boost and 2x eternian greatswords both ultimates ofcourse having more than 380 upgrades. Everything maxed out on upgrades. Pulled off 354mil tavern dps with my 2k hero boost. I gotta say i was more than impressed...
Not by the weapons or the perfect stats or unbelievable dps (have seen that already). But due to the fact that ALL his characters were like that. All 4 main classes wearing super legendary skins, with eternian ultimate weapons (350+ at least) and full ultimate sets.
Alright so while my buddy was busy taking screenshots and other things, i wondered. How the hell he is able to pull it off. He bragged about having 972 hours and referred to us as "pubs". Its understanding if one is able to do it with dps monks, squires, apprentice even (with a super awesome classic staff!). But what about huntress/ranger? Neither they have the health pool of a squire, nor the dps of a monk or an insanely high dps weapon (except the eternian gun ofcourse). He was keen on the fact that he play with 3 of his team mates. Alright, very much possible i thought. 3 other guys boosting a 4th guy to help in unlocking super legendary skins. Fair enough.
So we started, he said, "I hope ye pubs have yer build so i can sit and dps with my huntress. Everyone wants me to give them my builds, but i like to see them try their own."
I felt maybe there is a perfect build out there that i cant think of probably, so i asked him to please show us the build so we can do this. We are tired of failing so many times.
With that, his attitude changed. He said he will not build as he build for last guys and he will leave.
In the end i was keen on him to build and he just left abruptly.
My friend reported him and said no wonder he left, he was a hacker and couldn't build for $hit. Well maybe, but what about the rest of people? I know people are farming that map, soloing it, unlocking skins and farming reward weapons. But my question is, HOW?
If there is any veteran out there who can guide me, i'd more than appreciate that.
