View Full Version : problems replacing physical beams on buffs

'This drives me crazy.
I carefully and precisely put down physical beams, almost touching, and then a buff beam between to buff them both. I upgrade the buff beam to 3 stars. One of the physical beams gets pushed. I can NOT replace the physical beam as it was before, because you can not place the end of a physical beam close enough to the end of a buff beam node to buff that physical beam. The only way I can see to lay a physical beam down on a buff is to entirely cross the buff beam or be far from the buff beam node. To put it another way, you can put the end of a buff down on the end of a physical, but not a physical on the end of a buff.
So every time a shark moves one of the more precisely placed shields, I have to replace both the shield and the buff beam to put it back together. I only have time to do that when in survival.

Am I the only one frustrated by this? If not, could this please be fixed?

I completely agree. I do not feel like a should have to replace both beams because of one of those dang sharks. You may try posting this in the patch notes section as it may get put into the game quicker if the devs decide to change this.

1. I don't know what that means.
2. Although Sharken bring this problem to the fore, they are not the problem. The problem is that you have to build physical and buff beams in a certain order, unlike everything else.

Yeah I am not sure what that means either. He is not complaining about shaken. He wants to be able to place physical beams on the node of the buff beam. The shaken may cause the need to replace things (which is completely fine and adds challenge) but it would be nice to be able to replace just 1 defense instead of 2

This drives me crazy as well. It shouldn't matter the order things are built in.

Jester DLC. Problem solved.

Possibly, maybe, perhaps...
Assuming the same issue with placement exists the Jester would still have to move the buff beam, the shield, then the bfuf beam back. Simply put, I think it should not matter the order things are built.
Of course I'll get the Jester, I'm no fool. :p
