looking at your post history it seems you posted a "why was i banned?" thread earlier, its been moved to a hidden area of the forums by a mod it appears. i cant get the link i need to work it dont open up i am not a hacker and i wona no y i have been banned but the link doont work only reason i can think of is some one gave me some armor because i am new so i was asking around for spare tower armor so a guy offered me his old tower gear http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198065157433/screenshot/560944717373379295
there are the stats of it like i said i am new and i dont no what is legit or not i thought he was just helping me and as a new player i was amaised by this armor and didnt think twic about useing it

the tower armor he gave me consisted of mythical armor from 270-370 upgrades the guy that gave me it had simular armor to this on only better so i thought it was ligit scince he was useing it it had like 400-500+ tower stats and had all hp range att rate and damage and wasnt fully upgraded ive seen some rely good armor from alot of players i asumed it was possible if i new it was hacked i wouldnt of used it il be more than happy to give this armor to a mod or someone of trendys staff or what ever the term is i can tell u the guy who gave me it aswell although i apprecate he was just helping a newb :/ (me)

i can barly suss out how to use e mail let alone hack a friking game could some one unbann me if this is the reason i was unaware and to be fair i thought u could only hack singleplayer

Ban Information

I've been banned!

So you've been hit by the ban hammer and maybe you do or don't know why. The first thing to check is are you VAC banned or banned in Trendy's system.

If your played online button is greyed out: Now Steam downtime can cause this button to go grey too so don't be alarm and think that you're banned immediately. Check if there is any downtime here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=784745 . You can also check your VAC ban status on your account by going to Steam -> Settings and right there it'll inform you about if you have a ban or not. A VAC ban can come from using any 3rd party hacking/cheating/trainer program on both Ranked and Open. The only tools allowed to use to Mod the game on Open is the DDDK which is free to download DLC. You receive an ingame message that you've been banned: Like the ingame message says please send an email to feedback@trendyent.com and include a link to your Steam profile or your Steam name. Please only send one email and include any information you believe may have caused your ban. Sending in multiple emails could delay your review and response. You'll receive at least a basic response usually within 3 business days. All cases are reviewed. If your ban does not get lifted you'll still be able to play on Open.

What can get me banned from Ranked?

Selling items, mana, power leveling services, or map runs for USD or actual Team Fortress 2 Game items(the TF2 pets/portal gun are okay).
Selling or using hacked items.
Using 3rd party programs to modify your account.


If you do receive a TrendyNet - Ranked ban and it doesn't get lifted you will still be able to play on Open.

Are you reading the information included? the "feedback" link you are likely referring too is just the email address to contact regarding your appeal. Please carefully read the entire quoted text above and follow the instructions. Once you do this (it involves sending an email) someone from trendy will get back to you.

The armor in the screenshot looks hacked. At least the stats do. it's myth, the highest upgrade on them is 215, it has resists, and the stats are 2700 across the board. Hacked armor gets you banned no matter who you got it from.

good sir, I am not sure what you expect to happen here. I have provided you with the proper procedure to follow to appeal your ban. If you are unsure how to use email i suggest you read the article i linked above. If you need further help what ever provider you have for your email (im sure you have one, you registered here didnt you?) should have additional FAQ and help files that you can review. Once you are able to send an email, follow the instructions above to contact Trendy and they will get back to you.

It doesn't matter if you didn't know it was hacked. Some hacker tricked you, as they always do. This is why you should be wary of buying from other players. Some will troll you with hacked armors. TRADE AT YOUR OWN RISK

i explained my story i even posted a screen shoot before i was banned of me thinking it was hacked i had text below asking what i should do with it ''if'' i was a hacker i would screen shot it and show it off and post it on fourms like i said i was unaware i been on steam for just over 2 days (49 hours) i could understand this if i was a player of great knowlage of the game and been playing it for years i not even done every mission let alone seen all armors and there max

Again none of what your saying matters. If you want to appeal your ban, you need to send an email with the relevant information to Trendy for them to review your case. It IS possible to get a ban reversed in certain situations however as ive said (and you seem to be ignoring) it will require you to contact Trendy via the formal channels.
