dlc - cannot equip weapons

hi all

bought some dlc for xb360 prior to doing any challenges or ending game on hard. now starting to do insane maps and hard challenges and realising i cannot equip (example) godly items or map rewards not related to dlc (i cannot even attempt dlc stuff yet).

i cannot even equip ogres childhood toy as the game says i need to be level 74 (or 78 .. cannot recall).

does anyone know hoe i can get these items to equip? i do not think i cannot progress further as i cannot equip any gear beyond pristine.... please help

You need to level up.

even at 70, i cannot equip the map rewards or drops that are showing up ... BEFORE DLC content..

scenario, its like trying to do insane assault, just to get balistica, to find out you cant even equip it at 70. Heck, doing Ogre Crush on insane at 70 for the Monk drop, to find out you cannot even equip that toooo!!!!

now do you get it?

all item rewards should be available to be equipped at 70 (armor or weapon) on the non DLC maps. and at 70 (I have heroes at 70) and most drops I cannot equip because I am not 74 on a NON dlc map .. does that make sense?

Mentioning your level helps, but the solution is the same. Alternatively, you can try again and hope for a lower level requirement on the next piece you get.

The required level is variable, based on RNG and the generated stats.

okay so to clear this up. the level req for weapon (regardless of dlc) is random. and thus I may have to do multiple runs in hoping that the same map specific drop has a lower level req?

exactly, and the OVERWHELMING majority of what you find will be a lower level and you will be able to equip it. It was also generally be nowhere near as good as the items you are getting for level 78 or 74.
