View Full Version : Are DLC's very important?

I know it's a weird question. I've been noticing DLC's take a huge role on what I do now. I don't have the Eternia Shards, so I have to join other people's games, such as Magus Quarters Surv NMHC, NM Glitter sometimes, and some other things. While gathering mana, I buy items I found good at shops, and as much as I know some of you disapprove of that, it's the only way I can get better gear.

Although yesterday I found a Throne Room Surv NMHC map at lave survival, and I got some decent loot/mana. I got some good weapons and I'll try to choose one to replace my Mythical Retribution.

If I had the ES DLC, I'd be playing my own Nightmare maps, and I wouldn't have to depend on others.

The eternia shards DLC is important as its part of the story.

Holiday DLC, not really unless you like a costume change / weapon change

New heroes. EV is really the only one you'll need as she adds new defenses to the game. Barbarian is just pure DPS in a tower defense game.

Map packs, these are optional. Cliffs just adds a new costume and pet really.

One thing about the Eternia DLC is if you buy the 12.99 pack you get Nightmare which is essential in the long run if you plan on progressing past high end godly items. I haven't bought it yet myself though, but I'm dying to get it.
