I have noticed lately that I keep getting disconnected quite frequently while playing. It is quite frustrating when you are in the middle of a survival run and have gotten far. I am not blaming the game, but other outside factors as well including my internet or computer. I am not sure whether this issue has to deal with Steam or what, but it does not exclusively pertain to my suggestion.
I am not a programmer so I do not know if this is unrealistic. If there was a way to possibly save the game and avoid losing all your progress completely it would be a huge relief. For those of us who are slowly progressing and cannot just jump right in on wave 24 in survival it would be a big help.
I have not had an issue with this in the past other then a couple of times. It has happened about five times in the past few days and it is quite discouraging. Anyway, just wanted to write this and see what others thoughts were.
After thinking about this I realized that if you were able to save it then if you failed that you would be able to try it over and over again. There has to be some way to keep the game up for a certain period of time to allow the user to reconnect though. Instead of just losing the entire game perhaps it could be left open for five minutes to allow the user to connect after internet disconnect or game crash.
