Battle leap! ...straight into lava.

So starting to level my Barbarian finally, and making use of the Battle Leap skill to get around and slice things up. Just one problem, I was battle leap'd right into the lava on Magus Quarters. Is there not a pathfinding element to this that avoids lava? Completely useless otherwise.

I mapped turtle and siphon over it, got tired of reaching all the way to 7 and 9 or w/e they are for it (haven't used him in a loooong time). About to remap hawk to upgrade if I start using him after everything is upgraded.

When you use battle leap, it just draws an arc that pass through the target enemy. It doesn't consider where you might land. It doesn't make it "useless," you just need to be careful about how you use it, and not try to use it on enemies that are flying over or very close to an environment hazard.

Yes, but there's quite a lot of that on certain levels and there's no CERTAIN way to know exactly what it's going to attach to.
