Soul focuser! I love it! Perfect drop!?

Soul Focuser has to be one of my most favorite weapons in the game!

I'm not saying it is the best.. BUT, I LOVE IT!

Does anyone know what a perfect drop is now?

I know what the old Perfect drop was 40 base and 98 elemental with 27 levels!

What is the perfect Level 74 drop!?

What is the perfect Level 78 drop?!

I have a 63 level 39 base damage, but I can't use it till 78...

Weapons have the same stats post-patch as they did pre-patch, the only difference is the amount of upgrade levels.

Weapons have the potential to have higher base stats now. Unfortunately with the higher base stats, it tends to push it to the next level req.

I have blasticus with 111 base damage equippable by 78. Pre-patch the max base damage for a blasticus was 60. I think I have a soul focuser with a base Damage of 86 or 68 equippable by a 78 as well. Like he said, pre-patch it was 40 max.


Oh and I agree that the soul focuser is a pretty sweet weapon. Still is my weapon of choice post patch.

Agreed. Patch notes were lacking to say the least. I do like the higher base on a lot of items now. I just don't like the level requirements >.<

Damage: 69, Elemental: 88, SPS: 7, Clip: 63, RS: +7, Projectile speed: 632, Upgrades: 41

Best one ive seen so far is captains. I believe it was 3800 / 8 sps. Insane...ive heard rumors of 5K one but never seen one for myself. Oh yes...best gun Eva!

Now it is:

SPS 8
CA 77
PS 800ish

With my current HATK (430) and S2 (180) it takes 11500 each hit and 80K in PS.

I love the Soul Focuser gun as well so I farmed up about 65 of them, if I get off my butt I will post my results in next few days they have my inventory filled up and I need the space. I have one for a lv 83 that has like 78 upgrades. I need LV 74 armor for my trap chick and for my knight so if your looking for a good soul focuser id be willing to trade.

I personally think they can have over 80^. But they will be for lv.83 only imo.

Soul Focuser's are good. They can have more upgrades than the generics, but that many upgrades is rare. SF has a very low start base value, but a high elem value. Generic SFs have a much higher base start value but will have about 10-20 less upgrades than the SF version, so its a toss up which one is better in the end unless someone can find one of each to see which comes out on top. The Lava Beetle also shoots through walls, but it has even less upgrades than both other options. GSFs are hard to come by as you just have to get lucky in the shop, and chances of getting a very high value one are super low. At least SFs can be farmed, and with ease.

I have a lvl 62 with about 3700 base damage, 7 reload, 80 ammo and off course 8 sps. The generic ones are also very good though. I use them both

i Have a lvel 78 req 84^ Soul Focuser atm... just over 5500 base damage, But i dont know wether to farm lava beetles... I dont see good levels on them, But they have better base damage than the Soul Focuser usually. Is it worth farming lava beetles?

I believe my Soul Focuser is the best :) It has ^78 , 4888 Damage, 8SPS, 70 Ammo, 7 reload, 793 speed!!!
And now the best thing: It is for Level 74 xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I just got a 103^ Soul Focuser for Hero Level 83 from Insane+.

Not a Soul Focuser but i got an 80 upgrades Ogre Party Hat for 83 the other day. All the soul focusers i was farming were just bog standard 27 upgrades. Also got a squire animus with 84 upgrades for 83 lvl
