I have quite a nice computer, but for some reason I get little lags all the time. I can play every game out on the highest settings, but I have problems with this. Any help.
2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2760QM processor (2.40 GHz, with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.50 GHz)
8GB,DDR3,2 DIMM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 3GB graphics with Optimus
If you need any other info please ask. Thanks for your support.

I seem to be having the same issue and sometimes get to the point where it is unplayable. I used to be able to have many things running at once but after the new patch dungeon defenders itself is maxing out my cpu. I would also like some help on this issue.

This is what im running:
Windows 7, 64-bit
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor 2.60GHz
8GB DDR3
Radeon 5570

Yep. Same here.

My suspicion is a memory leak, cause I could run this game fantastically before the patch.

Has this recently gotten worse as of the 7.30 patch? We re-enabled some multi-threading logic in 7.30 patch, and it's possible it's causing issues for you guys. We will disable them in 7.30c to determine if it improves the behavior for you.

Before the 7.30 patch the game ran perfectly smooth. This is what it is currently doing to my computer http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa410/whitezombiejsp/ddissue.png.

My specs are the second post in this thread.

Ok, when 7.30c is released please post an update about how it handles, should be back to how it was before. Thanks :)

I'm still having the same issues after the 7.30c patch, anyone else still getting this?

I am, and have a similar post about it in this forum. I've tried numerous troubleshooting steps of my own to no avail. It spikes the usage on core 0 of my quad core. Open to suggestions.

There any update on this issue? I'd love to get back to farming items but not being able to last more than 1 wave without unplayable lag isn't working out.

bump.

I have found a temporary fix that works *sometimes*. Go to task manager > Processes > Right click DunDefGame.exe > chose 'set affinity' > Uncheck Core 0.

This has helped me play at least a little bit, instead of lagging and crashing during or after the first wave I actually managed to finish a full challenge before the lag got unplayable. Still hoping that an actual fix comes soon so I can get back to playing normally.

just recently i thin the 7.32 patch caused my game to really go into unplayable lag... my specs are solid

I just figured I would post again on here saying there is STILL lag. I'm hoping for an update from trendy to see if they are still looking into this problem. I haven't heard anything since the last post of "patch 7.30c should fix this". I'll put my specs and other info in this post to try and help this along. Hopefully I can get a response, even a simple "we are looking into the issue" would help out better than the 10+ posts people are making with no response from trendy.

This is what im running:
Windows 7, 64-bit
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor 2.60GHz
8GB DDR3
Radeon 5570

This is Just dungeon defenders running on low graphic settings, 1024x768 res (multi-threading option does not change this):

This is the game Sniper Elite V2 running at Ultra graphic settings and 1680 x 1050 res.

Sniper Elite seems to run smoothly across all cores. DD seems to use only the first core, even when I set the affinity to not use core 0 the game somehow still maxes out the first core. Using compatibility mode I have somehow freed up "some" of the lag but even when the game is running smoothly the CPU usage still looks like the image above.

When I saw this post, I did a test.. only 60 enemies into the wave of 1k+ and my graph looked exactly like yours.
