What causes this to happen? I can join barely any games at the moment of my friends.

My friend had that problem as well but I think the issue was that our game clients were at different versions.

Wait till everyone is fully patched and the game should get back to normal.

Make sure they didnt hit Hide Game in the pause menu. Thats one cause of it.

Also getting level failed load sometimes.
