Ramparts - Pure Strat - Very low stats

Have made it to 24 a few times with less than 1k stats on my apprentice. Ogre always gets me >_<

maybe you should put down EV walls instead of blockades, swap one LT for darkness traps and VOILÀ, you could then maybe get to 30?

My ev only has like 400 to turret health. I'm working on leveling another so i can get a set of high turret hp stuff, just haven't finished yet.

I got to 24 when my ev only had 600 turret attack, but my buddy had a really good apprentice guardian to boost my lightning turrets with that run.

Same deal with my huntress gear. Its all mostly crap.

How well do darkness traps help with ninjas?

As far as I know darkness in Pure Strat is pointless, nothing has elemental dmg/inmunity to begin with so they do pretty much nothing. In normal survival is whole different deal tho.

Also I assume you do this for a giraffe, then you should try Mystimire, maxes at something like 850 mobs, only 1 ogre per wave and no spiders. Its 30 waves vs 25 in there but overal i think is faster, easier and giraffe should be a bit better.

Mostly I was just going through levels in pure strat because I can knock it out mostly afk up to 20 with my meh gear while I make dinner for the little ones after work =)

The pets were a nice bonus.

Also, in Mystimire will I see Myths before ~24?

I had forgotten there were no resistance in pure strat, darkness has no use then.

No myth loot on pure strat, maybe some crappy myth MAY loot from a chest.

Are you saying you're getting no myths on a NM map on pure strat? I have a pretty decent apprentice with towers maxed out (so no resists/hp/hero dmg) and I was considering starting pure strat to get some items. Is it not worth it then? I thought pure strat would yield as much loot as survival HC..

The point of Darkness on Pure Strat isn't to strip immunity, but to cause the affected area to lose their target. Helps a lot on wall damage, though I don't think Ninjas are affected by it anywho.

As far as gear goes on Pure Strat, it's a waste of time, in my experience. This may be a bit off as an example, but Pure Strat wave 30 generally yields the same type of loot you'll see on normal NMHC campaign, maybe even a little worse.

nope, but its very easy to farm the wave 14 pets.

They on average wont stack up to Survival MM, but considering you can do pure strat very early, they can be huge upgrades.
