Hello everyone there's a new kid on the block and I hope everyone is all right with that :p. Well now that we've established that, time for the real reason I posted. I'm still a self proclaimed newb at this game and although i'm sure this has already been discussed I would like to pose a question. Yesterday I went farming for a semi decent Malificars (to flip for some cash) and I noticed that no matter how many times I tried to get a good rapier they ended up being either low in upgrades or just an overall poor weapon. Is this just bad luck, or does a bosses reward get steadily worse as you defeat them more and more?
Thanks,

The thing about farming is, you don't get the best one on your first try. Or second, or third for that matter. Fact is, it takes a while to farm perfect weapons. Especially on Mistymire. (curses mistymire under his breath)

Well be lucky you can even beat MM on Insane I've tried once and got obliterated by those stupid spiders so fast I never tried again :(.

Welcome to the community! Regarding farming, you need to play on a higher difficulty. The chances are better for you to have a better item.
Good luck farming :)

I'd do this all before the patch when squire towers get nerfed, knowing this company history with patching it will be pretty severe, so just be prepared.

Yeah, I did like 100 runs on Alchemical Labs and only got 1 good rapier that had 9947 Poison :/ It seems random because when I did Throne Room, I got a Furnace Poker with 10k Elemental Damage my first run :)

Thanks coolwaters I appreciate your willingness to help, however the actual map on insane is not the problem I think I was just having rather poor luck with my drops :(. Also I already have a decent rapier on my dps squire I was just looking to find one to upgrade to make a little extra mana
