Hello PS3 users!
I am putting this thread together to try and let all you PS3 users trade safely. I may not know all of the pre-cautions, but I am hoping all you can help me to:-)
The Pre-cautions
Check their join date on the forums and try and work out if they joined around when the event weapon came out. I realise this may not always work as the PSN events have had alot of the old weps handed out in Winter Olympics.
Search for their trading history e.g. go through their forum posts to see if they have had secure trades.
If they say they have been in games with people with the event weapons it means nothing. Every item has their own serial code and can only get deleted when meeeting the same serial code.
If they post that the item is not duped, your always gonna be suspicous.
Asking if they got it second hand or from an event is always a good idea too!
Hoping to add more and get this stickied. As I am not on the PSN side(recently sold my PS3), It may or may not help you. Also anyone part of the Legitimate Trading Group (http://forums.trendyent.com/group.php?groupid=53) is about 99.9%(damn that 0.01% who lie*shakes fist*), are trust-worthy. Go check it out! Post or PM me any suggestions for this thread!
