Well in battle field 3 you can blow up buildings. Compared to an RPG bouncing off a window like in blackops...

Battlefield 1942 and battlefield 2 are classics that for their time were the best, especially for multiplayer (although I did love the first call of duty for it's single player..couldn't tell you how many times I played through it). Now its a bit of a toss-up depending on which style fps you like better... One that is more infantry based and a little more fast paced (mw3) or one that is more vehicle and goal oriented and on a much larger scale (bf3).

I personally like battlefield better. I've played both call of duty and battlefield since the very beginning of both series. (all on pc).

Yeah, he gets it. It all depends on what kind of game your looking to play. A 10 minute fastpaced rushing game, or a hour long strategy game. Not one is much better than the other it's all personal preferance.

Call of duty is just more fast paced and you are always in the action whenever i play battlefield i have to walk 50 miles across the map to get sniped from someone laying in a bush lol.

The only fun Call Of Duty was MW2. Mw3 is only fun when you're messing around with friends, black ops was only good for zombies. And BF3's game engine is pretty slow tbh.

The only thing CoD has going for it now are local co-op death matches, but the online play is (from what I've heard) extremely stupid...
