Hi,

first i apologizefor my english, it's not my mothertongue.

since 3 or 4 days we meet a hudge bug on all maps of the game witch force us to stop playing until it will be fix.

Here is the bug :

My balists arrow cross the mobs, but don't damage them. this bug appends on all the map but when the host is close to my balist, they hit normaly. the probleme is the host can't be close to all my balist in the map. so we loose all our game since 4 days cause ogres break wall cause they don't take damage, or fly breack the crystal for the same reason.

actualy the last thing we can do on the game with our stuff is Mystimire on Nighmare survival. But with this bug we can't do it ( fly always break the crystal or a stupid necromancer walk throught a roc and hit the crystal ... ). so for the moment we have to stop the game ...

Please fix it as soon as possible.

Here is a Screenshot with fly and my balist arrows. you can see that arrow cross all fly, but no damage on the screen.

* Harpoon Turrets now incorporate target leading into their aiming, making them MUCH more effective against Wyverns and also fast-moving enemies

strait from the coming up patch notes, probably fix you issues.
unsure if troll...

What? The issue he described is completely different. The patch notes are improving targeting so that the harpoons will not miss so incredibly often as they currently do. This issue appears to be that harpoons fly right through enemies but do not count as a hit if the host is not near. The former is a targeting issue, the latter is a networking issue.

What's the speed on those harps? They start missing wyvs when you get faster than 0.08 fire rate. Are you boosting with a hunter pet? If so, stop.
No idea if the new patch will fix this.

they don't just miss wyverns, they miss all the mobs ( as ogre ) if the host isen't close. and the host have a Huntress guardian. they also miss all over the map either if there is not huntress in the place.

I reported a bug involving this. If the host is not looking at a harpoon (as in having it on their screen) and it continuously is firing, without stopping, at a series of new targets, it will "jam" and keep firing in one direction. Example: If a harpoon is behind you firing at a continuous, huge wave of wyverns.

Everyone else will see the harpoon firing normally because Trendy switched the visual model of harpoons firing to LOCAL ONLY (so that host wouldn't have to transmit every single projectile being fired). However the way the host sees the harpoons is how it determines if said harpoons are hitting the mobs or not. So everyone else will see harpoons firing through enemies, but the host sees the harpoons firing off in whatever direction they jammed in. And his view makes for damage calculations.

They said they are addressing the issue, but in the mean time I decided to stop using harpoons until its fixed.
