SimCity is BACK!

After 9 long years they are bringing it back and diving head first into multiplayer. Anyone have a Delorean that I can use to just skip to release?

OMFG! So excite! I hope that they can at least make the game look similar to the art style shown in the trailer.

Seems like they are, they are saying it's going to be in full 3D, and that's everything, even the cars and civilians on the roads. Something they weren't able to do in previous installments due to technical limitations.

I'm super pumped for the multiplayer "social-flow" as they call it. It was one thing this game desperately needed, can finally work together to build a region. It goes as far as having cities cause disasters for other cities. If you watch close in the trailer they show that the industrial city is polluting the water. It drifts to the neighbouring tech city and causes the power plant to explode causing a blackout in both cities. The two builders then work together to build a new (looks like nuclear) power plant to re-power both cities (if you look very close when they drop the power plant tiles you will see blue and red indicators showing the two independent players putting pieces down.

I love the SimCity series, I've wasted soooooooo much time playing those games. Probably one of my favorite type of game of all time and so happy to hear the news. As long as it isn't Sim Societies 2.0 I'll be happy.
