Need help with "Etherian Holiday Extravaganza"

So i want that sword for squire, how hard is this challenge? Could someone help me?

its one of the hardest challenges on nightmare. The hardest? possibly but the strategy is no different for insane / VS Nightmare if you have enough damage.

there is a guide posted on the forums somewhere for it.
Just remember that the more players you have the sooner (wave number) ninjas start to spawn. Duo is best and both using hybrids if you're doing Nightmare. For insane you'll just need 1 builder hybrid ideally.

Speaking of Hybrids, are you meaning a builder with points in health/damage, or just a weapon that cn deal decent damage so as to be able to take out mobs easier? I've got no hybrids as I've done my best to focus on strictly builder stats or DPS stats for my various characters and since I've already used up most of my character slots, I don't have room to make any hybrids so it'd be easier if I can just swap weapons if that's all it'd take.

With NM HC settings 2 player the snowman boss has over 200mil hp. This challenge is broken.

I was able to complete it on hard solo, the problem i was having trying on insane was running out of DU early in the match so i could not put up as many Defenses as i needed. The holiday maps are some of the hardest if not the hardest maps around.

Its really about luck though hoping that you get the close trees and not the ones on the other side of the map.
