Q>Shots per sec

Hi guys!
following example:

i got a weapon with 3 shots per sec and 220^.
the max weapon speed possible is 6.

is there any rule about how much upgrades until the next shot per sec upgrade?
something like on guardian pets where you get +1 tower every 10^ :o

or is it totally luck based to get ups on that stat?

It's every 4 levels but each gun has a different max sps IIRC.

Type... for instance Van Wolfstein (or any model of the same) is max 6 sps. So if you find one with 6 already on it, you won't be able to level the sps. Blasticus (or any model of the same) is max 10, etc.
