Shooting staff weapons point blank don't hit

The apprentice staff weapons won't hit ninjas and other enemies when they are attacking at very close range. Shooting them at this range the bolts go straight through or spawn behind them. This can be particularly annoying when surrounded by mobs and you can't get out even if you normally have the power to kill them all. This happens most on the assault maps, but on all other modes too.

This really isn't an issue as like any gun in this game or in various other games the projectiles come out from the tip of the front of the weapon. So you have to back up to attack and hit with your weapon.
