Is it required to buy winter DLC for Frost Blade to drop in Misty Survival? cause i've ran through misty surf up to wave 15 several times... yet none has ever dropped. but when i duo with a friend who does have the winter DLC.. i've seen 4 drop in 1 wave..(not great stats, but still drops) can anyone confirm this/

You can try the NM holloween event they seem to drop often there, as far as survival I have people be the same class as it increases the odds of the reward like weapons of dropping. You can solo it too if you can but since there is a limited amount of monsters is also good if you vacuum to give more space for other things to drop. I didnt buy the DLC but they still drop just fine for me.

i think you need to beat the content that has the item for it to drop elsewhere, not 100% sure tho.

Nah not true!
I didn't beat the Holiday Extravaganza thing(cba for those silly costumes :D).
But I loot around 10-15 Ice Blase of all god-damn types starting from TORN/WORN/POWERFUL/EPIC/AMAZING/GODLY/MYTH in Halloween Spooktacular, it drops a lot :D !!!
Silly ones are good for Tavern Decorations, recently found a 162^ with 11xx Base DMG on Halloween :D !!!

How good is the reward from Holiday Extravaganzza? Can it has lets say 240+ upgrades? Or do we have to do misty surv to get 240+ upgr. frost blades? Because I dont think you can get 200+ upgr. frost blade from halloween. And what bout UMF NM?

On Halloween-Spook, highest I've seen is 187^ myself, which got sold for 500m something coz it was a good drop, and I'm one of those rare dudes who dislike the Frost-Blade(don't ask me why!). But no idea about Holiday Extravaganza, most of the 200^+ I've seen is from Misty, recently collected a 206^ :)

If you can do UMF 1 or UMF 2.0 I had frost blade drops there with 240+ ups but I find those drops more rare in UMF than in misty. I would tell you to try your luck with which ever one you like but in misty survival I find a couple between 5 to 10 in a good wave and in a bad wave I stll find between 2 to 4.

Yea, exactly as blizt said above.
This is how you find them(from more to much rarer) Halloween -> Misty -> UMF1/2 -> Holiday Extravaganza(I have no idea about this? So just listed last!)

If you are looking to use them actually then Misty should be the place to hunt, otherwise if you wish to decorate your tavern with these shiny swords, Halloween is the best place for it! At least 2-3 Blades per round after first wave(if lucky then you might have there as well). Oh! I'm talking about NM Halloween though, and Misty etc. NM as well!

UMF - I tried to solo, lost in the last wave, every frost blade up to that was just meh, nothing above 200 ups, maybe just a bad luck... So yea, it seems like misty surv is the best place to get the best ones. Gotta try my luck sometime.

I got a 230 ups frost blade for my countess on HC campaign mistymire. It's extremely rare to get one that good, but possible. (also found a similar quality leafy staff thingy for my apprentice, but with negative charge speed)

misty wave 25+ is ur best bet but they drop rarely i have a 240^ and a 254^ after countless runs

If you want to test it, you can try to see if they drop on halloween. I do have the DLC and I see it drop there all the time.

Yes, it does drop on
1) Halloween (Common, but not end-game)
2) UMF (rare, ultra rare for end-game)
3) Misty Survival (rare, ultra rare for end-game)

end-game are those abv 18k dm (not the best, but decent enough)
