I had this idea everytime that i begin to set prices item per item.

Why not just a global multiplier based on tavern value. Like example, make 3.500.000 pet with with 350.000 tavern value with 10x multiplier. Obviously with the current option of setting a specific price to any item.

I think its something easy to implement and will make our life easier.

Edit: I Must clarify, obviously it should be a entirely customizable option, if you want to be cheap seller just set the multi to 5x o if you want more benefit, set it to 500x.

That would mean Trendy would need to get everyone to agree to a specific multiplier, which is impossible. I'd definitely not pay nor sell for the same mulitplier for a piece of junk and a 254^ with great stats. The game determines the resale value on the quality of things, yes, but the difference in price is not big enough.

I've never seen a piece of equipment exceed the value of 15-20m at level 1, yet many items are worth well over 2b (I know the shop allows 200m max, but this is just an example of how much difference there is between resale value and its actual value). To determine one optimal price multiplier for both bad and good quality items is just too difficult. Too low of a multiplier, good items quickly lose their market value. Too high of a multiplier, beginner~medium gears would not get sold.

Did you even read his suggestion?

Oh, I didn't see that it was suggested to be an option. My bad.

I think this would be really helpful, especially since I already just sell all of my shop items at 2x the tavern price. For those selling a lot of items that dont care to analyze every single one to tailor individual prices, this would be superb. Plus pricing every single item takes forever.

Agreed. I already spend hours in survival earning the loot, i don't want to spend hours looking it all over and coming up with prices. I usually flatten out the price to 2-4x the vendor value depending on the # of upgrades. Putting in a full shop's worth of prices feels like a chore and is hardly enjoyable. Having an option to set a "default" price based on vendor value or other criteria would be a boon and may also help stabilize the economy somewhat. Right now prices seem to be all over the place and its hard to find deals that you feel like you're being ripped off.
