Spiders are evil, this has already been established. What could be worse than a mob that spawns behind your defences and jams them?
Well, we've still got three QLES DLCs to come, what devious mobs might be waiting? What would be the worst thing that could happen to your builds?

Best thing I can come up with is some kind of flier that doesn't just follow a set path to the same crystal, but that's easy, what evil, EVIL mobs can you imagine? What do you take for granted that a new enemy could specifically exploit in order to annoy?

In the interview with Jer about the expansion, I believe he mentioned that "Djinns"--Arabic word from which our word "genie" is derived--are up next. So with that in mind, I would say maybe they teleport and/or cast certain spells on you or your towers, maybe spells that do damage over time, like poisoning you, setting you on fire, etc.
