I bought this game during the recent sale on Amazon.com. I've had it for about 4 days, and until yesterday I was only playing a personal private match. I started going through the campaign until I'd hit a sticking point, then go back through the earlier levels on Hard to get better gear/XP to pass the levels. I ended up beating the dragon at level 22 I think (Squire, mixed build). Now I am going through some of my more favorite levels (Ramparts, Gardens, etc) on Hard and finding that I'm getting gear way outside my level range. Should I not be able to do this yet? Should I not be doing them yet? I'm leveling quickly enough, and I see some of the challenges are for higher levels. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm currently around level 40, still trying different builds on Ramparts/Hard.

I'm only asking because I finally started a public game and promptly got yelled at on headset for doing a map that's "way too hard for (my) level". I mean, angrily yelled at. I don't let that sort of thing get to me (especially when I can just kick them from the lobby) but it got me thinking.

You might be able to do maps that drop stuff you cant actually wear because your playing a squire. They are very strong at the moment. It was the same for me when i started only with apprentice towers (which were very strong back then). Just regard the drops as a motivation to keep on playing :o

Just keep going man! If you are succeding at what you are doing then it's all good, no need to worry about maps/difficulties being above your levels etc. !!!

Ofc you should play exactly what map and difficulty you want and can handle. Don't mind the doucebags ;)
Personally I ran Ramparts Insane Ramparts squirebuild (http://html5.cubicleninja.com/dd/index.htm?layout=20690), or similar till i hit maxlevel (was 70 then).
