Just lost all my data!!!!!

First thing's first I have PS +, but the stupid thing won't let me download my latest save until 24 hours from now, as I just backed it up. So I have to wait until then to see if my latest save is the one which got corrupted or not.

I lost 3 event items, Sodas addiction, base T26 and my Krayt jr. Along with all my other items (armor, pets, weapons), only my hero data is there.

The sad thing is I know If my data is corrupt I have no chance of getting my Sodas addiction back. As no one I know who lost their data ever recieved a replacement from Trendy.

I'm so pissed atm, because today I was working on the platinum (97%) and the two trophies I have left were tough skin and catch em all. Ironic that I needed a few pets left for it....

I'm more angry then stressed atm. I mean all that time and effort down the drain if my back up file is indeed corrupt. What burns me is that I exited to the main menu as always and waited for the blue circle to stop spinning and everything. So I can't work out for the life of me exactly why this would occur.

However the biggest problem I have with this whole thing is that If I have indeed lost my sodas addiction then trendy won't replace it. That's just wrong. The other event items I lost I know I have a chance of getting back at least.

Sorry for the rant, just venting atm. I may look into getting the pc version, I don't know. To lose your data through stupidity is one thing, but knowing about the save corruption issue and doing everything in your power to avoid it and still end up with a corrupted save is inexcusable.

Anyway thanks classic for your concern, I appreciate it. I'm just going to cool off for abit. Even if my data is restored, I don't see what's going to stop it from happening again. Still will post update when I can actually access my save file.

Alright just got the opportunity to upload my save from PS+ now and it seems to of recovered it fine, all my event items are safe for now. Why it corrupted before I have no idea. I know I turned off my game correctly and everything. I still may go get the PC version though. Try to get chicken before then. Just abit worried that it may happen again.
