weapons upgrade cap

Ok, i know that in each weapon the upgrade per lvl cap differs and it is around 80, but does anyone have any clue which weapons have higher cap? Or what does it depend on? size? type? (great sword demon sword etc..) or is it completely random and i have to test each weapon i like?

I think there are some tables around this forums or on the wiki listing this for every type of weapon. Just search for spreadsheets or something like that.
