View Full Version : NM Misty Spider Queen - Looking For Info

Had her down to 20 million last night from 74 with a group of 3 before we lost to Ogres breaking walls.

Question is, I know she enrages when she gets low on HP. But what about the ogres? They increased their DPS over time, is that time based or based on her HP? I.E. when she enraged do the ogres also hit harder. Or do the mobs that spawn slowly increase in difficulty over time as they spawn and are un-related to the queen.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about that Tastic, but I do believe on the Sky o Love the mobs get harder the longer the rounds last. We were only doing easy though. Might've just been delusional and it was all in my head, but... :)

No, everything stays the same throughout the boss wave except the boss herself whom starts enraging at about half health.

Queen down tonight.

All gear from HC NM Misty Campaign Waves 1-12 except robot pets from Alchemy Labs HC Survival wave 15 robt reward (doable in HC NM Misty Gear)

3 people involved.

1 Barbarian Tank
1 Monk
1 Huntress/Tower Squire/Aura Monk <-- Played by Me, Squire/Aura monk benched for all waves only used in build phases. Active on Huntress all 12 waves.

Standard HC NM Misty Squire Build

1 Bowling 1 Harpoon + MageWalls + Snare Aura at all 4 entrances

Snare + STR Drain + Healing Aura in middle.

6x Harpoon Turrets Facing Middle Built on Ledge Above, All Turrets Facing in Same Direction to pierce queen when she exposes her heart who is tanked by the Barbarian so she faces the turrets.

4x Bumpers Under Spider Spawns inside the base.

Pretty easy tonight, considering all of the attempts and different strategies/builds we used on this encounter over the last few weeks to finally beat her. The change with the barbarian turtle stance + webs made a big difference, but it would have been doable with a squire, but Barbarian is a lot cleaner.

307/696/450/58 (Yes 58 lol, monk has terrible gear haven't bothered to upgrade it much at all considering all the goodies in my bank)

Huntress:
511/1109/407/519 I'm using a 173 upgrade Disc Thrower as a weapon.

Not sure what the Monk and Barbarians stats were but there all similar to my huntress. We play as a group of 3 and don't buy any gear from the player shops. Barbarian was leveled to 74 last night and geared out in STA/Turtle/Hero Damage gear with tanking this encounter specifically in mind. Most upgrades were spent on hero health and physical resistances. With about 300 million mana invested. We pooled the mana we earned from leveling the barbarian into upgrades for his gear. So the gear wasn't even maxed yet. He had about 75% physical resistance in Nightmare, and about 800 in Turtle and 800 in Hero Health with about 150k HP.

Monks stats were probably similar to my huntress.

During Queen wave I ran an 27 Boost Apprentice Guardian to buff the turrets shooting the queen. Spend 90% of the encounter shooting the queen and making sure to quickly kill the baby spiders (she exposes her heart once the babies are dead). Monk ran repair duty and ogre patrol with me occasionally assisting on double ogres.

DPS was much quicker on the queen this time due to the frequent expose heart phases with me DPSing on my huntress and killing the baby spiders instead of playing my tower squire and running repair duty.

But FINALLY omg. lol. So many attempts working this out. Glad it's finally over. Plus it's totally doable w/out Misty Survival or Hacked Gear.
