View Full Version : Did not sync with steam cloud... or something

I bought the game for PC yesterday. Played the tutorial then went to bed. Came back today and got the message that i could lose my saved data because it could not sync or something like that. Any idea whats up?

Just hit cancel and restart the game, it's usually nothing to worry about.

nope just restarted computer. and it is happening. says steam was unable to sync with steam cloud

Try starting the game again, it's working fine on my end.

Tried to restart the game, the steam client, the pc, and still the same issue.... never happened to me before....

A few things could be causing this. Go into steam and Settings ~ Downloads+Cloud ~ Enable steam cloud. I think it can be toggled but meh. Connection issues could possibly be causing steam to not be syncing to the cloud and could take a few hours to resolve itself. Took me 6 hours when I first got the game for steam to finally sync.
Playing on another computer will cause this message also.
The sync error message would really only affect open/local saves as your Ranked data is stored on Trendy's servers. But only for Open/Local if you play between machines as everything is stored locally. That error can happen from time to time when Steam's servers are having sync issues, being overloaded, or failure of just trying to connect to them. But usually if you wait a few minutes it normally goes away. Some suggest you reboot and usually that clears that error message right up.

I'm getting this as well all of a sudden. Guess I'll just wait awhile and see what happens.
