.. could someone explain to me how you are supposed to do the Assault Map Pack?

the 3 ranged characters have no chance in hell due to heavy nerfs and the squire who is the only one capable of actually surviving the hammering you get in the ensnare fields, is nowhere near fast enough to actually get around the map in time..

not solo the speed nerf pretty much made that impossible 2 or 3 people can split up and go for separate crystals

You want to solo maps that were probably never intended to be played solo by Trendy. I think you're complaining about too many things at once, and should just find another player to do them with you.

I want to solo maps because they are sold as being soloable..they are also available in "local" mode.. and with the number of people leaving the game (just see how it has dropped as a rock on the steam statistics page in the last 2 weeks) it wont be long until soloing is the only option.. not only do you have to find people who are capable of doing the levels, but you have to be able to find people who want to..

That. Trendy has stated they were not meant to be soloable on nightmare (hense all the nerfs). Unfortunately unless you over gear the crap out of it, you will have to find a partner. I hear the IRC channel is a great place to find competent people.

Me and a few friends beat all the assault maps by stampeeding down the paths at the crystals. Pretty sure this is the only way since it worked.

PS. I think assault is stupid since you are nerfed to level 1. So none of that work you did getting to high levels didn't matter.

where does it say that those levels are specifically made to not be soloable?

In STEAM the game is listed as single OR multiplayer!

With the number of people leaving because of trendy (and people like you), sooon it wont be possible to get achievements done, not because its too hard, but because it requires more players and there ARENT ANY AROUND!

stating it in some hidden away forum post that maybe 5% of the total player base ever visit, is not valid. STEAM and the description THERE is what matters. I've soloed most of the game, but when they adjust it so it is physically not possible to do unless you have a team, it's not a matter of me being whiney, is about trendy asking to be DDoS'd into oblivion by angry customers who get screwed in the *ss by their stupid ideas.

And just because you use hacked items, does not mean I want to.
