We'll be updating some of the Steam servers today around 16:00 PDT (GMT-0700). Chat, game lobbies, and the community web site will be affected. Content downloads and game play should not be affected. There is no database maintenance scheduled for this update, so the downtime should be short.

As always, I suggest subscribing to that thread to keep up-to-date on planned Steam maintenance.

I always used it before, even if my internet is messy i end up checking SPUF downtime announcement :D
But nice, this helps a lot of people, good work on making it sticky!! Someone can always update here from SPUF regarding downtime/maintainence issues !!!
