Here's what I'm pondering. I already have my computer hooked up to my 42 inch LCD, via hdmi. And I can play somewhat comfortably on my couch with my wireless keyboard and mouse. I was wondering if by using the wireless dongle I could use one of my 5 X-box 360 controllers (or even a few of them) for some split screen action similar to what we are currently enjoying on the 360. And yes I know it's odd to have 5 controllers but we have one generic one that doesn't work with my recharging pyramid and no one in the house likes using it much. I'm thinking that I'll need to use the emulator program that I was reading about, and have to get the wireless receiver. Any other hurdles I may have to worry about? Can the receiver handle 2 controllers? Anyone tried this? And I apologize if there's a thread on this already, it's an odd search topic and I haven't found anything.

The receiver should handle up to 4 controllers, I think. I've played some 3 player split screen myself. Been using 1 wired controller and 2 wireless. Works perfectly.

Like Armor Biff says, it should work perfectly. I use the wireless setup myself for a 2nd player and no extra software is needed as it's supported with the Unreal Engine/DD directly.

If you just wish to play with the controller and no split screen just "Start" the game with the controller once you're actually in game. Otherwise if you wish to do split screen join a tavern normally and then just hit the start button on your controller and you should be good to go. :)
