my laptop exceeded standards for this game but my brothers desktop which is no where near my laptop in specs was playing smoother then mine, i tried everything including changing settings and what not.
what i did to fix it was simple, i cleaned out the fan/and internal compartments. Though if you have a laptop i do not recommend you open it up unless you know what you are doing (and it probably voids warenties)
so if you have exhausted all options look into overheating/dust.
now i run the game no problem as it should be. hope this helps a few of you out there.
