DPS Apprentice - Help?

I have a 70 apprentice and some decent gear for a DPS set up but it's definitely not the best. I have the ignis staff or whatever. The staff you get for beating the summit with an apprentice on insane I think. I heard you're supposed to put it all in fire. I also have almost all godly gear, most of which I think I'd put in base damage, right?

Reason being, I'm half way to a tower squire, which is most definitely the best tower class in the game, and a DPS monk.

sounds like you have a decent apprentice already because the ignis does fire base damage. now if you want normal base damage then go get a tsuda's final creation from glitterhelm insane with apprentice.

in case you're not aware, tsuda's goes up to 1200+ but i haven't seen one breaking 1300 mark for base damage. i myself have a 1200+ one ^_^

If your upgrading dps armor you mainly want to apply to hero damage, you also want matching armor of course and you want to look for armor with high resistances as well.
so idealy your looking at,

18%/18%/18%/18% resistance
9 hero damage
1/20 upgrades

@Mochiiman In all honesty and not in a bragging manner, my apprentice is a hell of a tower app. I just wanted to attempt a dps app. I am actually getting tsuda's as we speak. Haha.
