Tower Upgrades

I thought it was 20% each upgrade but the damage seems to ramp differently.
Hp looks to be about 20% each upgrade but dmg goes 100% 150% 250% 350% 500%
I can't find anything on this.
Could someone please explain?

Tower upgrading adds more "tower stats" to the tower, check the dungeon defenders wiki for more detailed info.

Basic example with random numbers: tower lvl1 has the creators current stats. tower lvl2 has the creators current stats + a bit more.
The more you upgrade the tower, the more tower stats it gets (hp, dmg, range, att speed), but the gain is not even (bigger bonuses for higher levels).

I dont know if they changed the tips for this in-game or not. It use to be upgrades on the towers level 1 stats, but are now upgraded on the stats of the character

Dear Bogdanov89, the wiki is user edited and the old method of adding tower stats is quite obviously wrong.
I am the one updating the section on defenses.
The numbers are close to what I've listed in this thread.
I'm just looking for a more "official" answer.

The old method of adding tower stats is not entirely wrong. It just additionally does the % increase as well. Its 10% damage and 20% hp per upgrade. This varies more noticeably when you're using insanely low stat towers, because the +stats get added as well and come in as a huge increase. If you're using 2k stat towers, you'll see basically nothing but the % increase.

I've answered most of my questions, so if you could, please help me fill in this "table" below so I can add the information.

lvl1: +2 stats +10%dmg + 20%hp
lvl2: +_ stats +10%dmg + 20%hp
lvl3: +_ stats +10%dmg + 20%hp
lvl4: +_ stats +10%dmg + 20%hp
lvl5: 36 stats[total] +10%dmg + 20%hp

I've also figured out that the +stats happens before the +% for dmg and hp.
