1. it seems wyvers "centre point" is below there feet so auto aim, harpoons and most other towers aim below them which unless they're shooting down at them tend to miss when the wyvern is coming right at them.
Same goes for the controllers auto aim, i just shoot directly underneath them with my ranger, i have to jump then one shot might hit one.
2. alt tabbing the game has about a 10% chance of crashing the game on my computer, and my brothers seems to do it about 50% of the time. seem the only work around is alt-enter to window it before changing window.
