I think an easy fix would be to put sky box kill zones or something of that nature so people cant exploit that. (I say easy fix but I really have no idea if it would be or not lol)

Yeah, it looks like it could be easily fixed. Either killboxes, or making the ceiling solid, or making the walls exactly 90 degrees.

Far from gamebreaking. Maybe annoying and could cause some annoying deaths. But not gamebreaking.

Let me show you what I mean.
You'd need an xray weapon to fire through the collision boxes, and xrays don't compare to DTs in damage. Sure you get to fire from a safe area, but to what purpose? The only real use of that might be on umf1/2 but then you'd run out of time due to lack of dps from using something xray.

I don't exactly see how this is gamebreaking. Doesn't make Misty survival any easier. It makes SOME things easier but not "gambreaking"

But that's not gamebreaking. If it made wave 30 Misty a complete joke then I'd agree. However, UMF gear isn't the end all. While I agree it is silly it doesn't break the game in the slightest.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the guy for showing us a glitch, which is kind of... uncalled for. Is this glitch gamebreaking? No. Should it be fixed? Doesn't matter that much... The jetpack's kind of there to help you get a vantage point... at least I think that's what it's meant for. Does that make your hunter hard or impossible to kill? Maybe. But if you've played enough to use the jetpack maybe you should have that little advantage.

Anyway, it's a glitch, it's neat to get outside of maps, look at Halo 2, that was always super fun, same for any other Halo game. So why not let people play around outside maps a little? Can't do too much out there.

This thread should prolly be closed, it's not bringing anything else to the table now. It's kinda just people flaming XoX for making a glitch known. One that he's passionate enough about to worry over people abusing. So a little respect people eh?

Thanks for showing us the bug. Ultimately, it needs to , and will be fixed. And also ultimately, if you have achieved this to earn the jetpack on your own, this wont give that much of a leg up from what you already have (unless you were completely carried) and even then, you probably have a nice set of tower/dps gear by now to farm what you want mostly reliably. I am not choosing a side here on this argument, just pointing out the strong cases of both.

Even though I still think that this glitch could be very powerful. It does make you invincible against everything except flying enemies.

You can get up there on ANY character WITHOUT a jetpack. Macpimpin used to go up there to drop towers in his rooftop tower strat. Nothing new, and hardly gamebreaking.

You can get as many people as you want up there. Use the Portal gun, let everyone up, switch to your normal gun.

You never asked a question about UMF2 lol. But if you're asking about what if you can get above the ceiling? I'd ask who cares? If you manage to get on top and shoot down whether it be xray or your DT is large enough to shoot through, you can't do enough dps (on top of being angled so you don't pierce all that much) to win without utterly cheating. It is not gamebreaking. Game altering maybe, but hardly gives an unfair advantage. You've yet to show a case where it can be abused.
