Issue is simply I can't hear when people talk in game. I see their icon show up like they are talking, but can't hear it. I can hear all other game sounds fine. Using a headset doesn't fix the issue. I am using a Turtle Beach P21. Its recognized on my computer(Windows 7) and going through Steam the headset is recognized and I can hear myself on the Steam test.

Back to the game, I plug the headset it, and I can't hear voices. I can't talk to them either, but that may be another issue. With, and without the headset I should be able to hear people. The in-game options I have incoming and outgoing voice enabled, and the volume set to max. Is there a step somewhere that I can take to fix the issue?

Still no resolution. I may try uninstalling and then re-installing.

Did uninstalling and reinstalling work? I'm having the same issue although I'm noticing I also can't hear people in Steam's Chat so I don't think it is isolated to Dungeon Defenders.

I would look into making sure you don't have incoming sound turned off in the options because its working right now as it should. If you see the icons from players and you're the only one who can't hear it make sure incoming voice isn't turned all the way down.
