Barbarian and Series EV

I was surprised to see no one mentioning this in the forum.

I noticed on TrendyNet character creation that there are more than the four traditional heroes: Apprentice, Squire, Huntress, and Monk. There is a locked Barbarian and Series EV hero. Does anyone know how to unlock it?

If the Devs also shed some light on these two locked heroes, it would be much appreciated.

A long time ago, there was a concept art for a Jester class as well (and it was female!)

From what I can gather those are 2 templates of characters they will release next month, but they won't be the last characters added.

this is all the confirmed info i've gathered around the forum from dev posts. anything else you see that doesn't provide sources is more than likely speculation



on a semi-related note-
they are adding 4 additional classes this month (in addition to barbarian). these 4 classes are variations of the current four (slightly modified towers, etc), but of the opposite genders (female version of squire/apprentice/monk, male version of huntress)

yet it had info about two other classes that afaik have zero confirmation

They can barely balance 4 classes. I can't imagine how 6+ will function. Don't get me wrong, I love this game ... it's just a troubling thought.

Not really adding new classes... just new skins of the old classes.

And i would love to see the post that says slightly modified towers. Never remember seeing that.

Not sure about the modified towers, but they are not just reskins. They are "different." Don't know to what extent.

Dual weapons (unique melee weapon can be carried in each hand), melee-weapon combo system, and different combat stances. Among other things ;)

Although maybe instead I should commend you for not making a new topic.

A lot of stuff (mostly focusing on stabilizing the game) has caused them to delay the classes. At the moment, the last we heard the Barbarian is still set to be released with the Eternia Crystal's expansion, which, last we head, is set to be released this month.

You can't necro an informative thread, you can only bump it. Necroing only applies to conversation threads where people get confused and try to jump into an argument that ended many months or years ago (50 days is hardly a necro anyway). I actually just found this thread earlier today and almost bumped it myself at the time since it's still relevant and there was surely new info to add to the topic.

Barbarian seems to be scheduled for release with Eternia Shards DLC 2,

Likely Series EV will be out with Eternia Shards DLC 3 if it follows the same pattern.

I'm so excited for Barbarian, you don't even know.
